Some biographical notes
Bettina Habekost lives in Germany and works as a choreographer, dancer
and dance teacher.
Since 1986 regular research trips, studies, inter-cultural exchange, and work in the Caribbean.
Specialized in Caribbean Dance, Cultural Cross-over, and Dance Fusion.
State-Diploma in Sports and Gymnastics at Teachers College “Sport -& Gymnastikschule”, Karlsruhe/Germany.
Dance studies in the USA, England, Canada and the Caribbean (Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Cuba).
Graduate of the Jamaica School of Dance in Kingston, studies in "Caribbean Folk Dance Repertory" and "Modern Jamaican Dance", training with the National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica under Rex Nettleford and Barry Moncrieffe.
